The Reserve Bank of India considered as the apex of all banks conduct examinations every year.The tentative date for Phase 1 is  June 17,2020 and Phase 2 is 6,7 July, 2020.  It is responsible for framing and formulating the policies of other banks. Who would not wish to be a part of this leading bank of the country, but the question arises how? In order to appear for the examinations there are several criterias involved-

  • The minimum age limit for the candidate is 21-30 years, however the upper age limit falls between 32-34 years.
  • Only the people belonging to India, Nepal and Bhutan are eligible to appear for the examination. Even the migrants from other countries can sit for the examinations if they get an eligibility certificate from the Government of India.
  • The candidate should have a grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as 12th and 10th standard examination from a recognized university or board.

How to prepare for RBI Grade Exams ?

The examination is conducted in two sessions-Prelims and Mains. Preliminary exam is just a qualifying exam comprising basic topics like Reasoning, Mathematical Skills and English Proficiency. Likewise, the Mains exam includes more complex topics like Economics and Social Issues, English Skills and Finance and Management.

RBI Grade B exam is not an easy test to crack without proper preparation and planning. Some useful reference books to aid preparation for Grade B exam are: Indian Economy by Uma Kapila(Series of Books), Sociology by C.N.Shankar Rao, Financial Management by Prasanna Chanrda.

Candidates who secure minimum marks as prescribed by the Board main exam will be shortlisted for the interview round. Interview Round carries 50 marks.Final selection will be through merit list prepared by the Board by adding up the Mains Exam and Interview marks secured by the candidate.

IBPS PO Exam is an upcoming government exams conducted every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The preliminary exam will take place on 3,4,10 October, 2020 and the main exam will be held on November 28,2020. The main aim is to shortlist candidates for the post of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee in the various public sector banks in India. How to prepare for IBPS PO Exams ?

Bank exam preparation requires a lot of time and effort. The exam is held in three phases-Preliminary,Mains exam and Interview Round. Aspirants should aim to cover portions of the bank exam syllabus sequentially and involve revision of the topics periodically.

Prelims exams include 100 questions ranging from English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The Mains exam contains a descriptive paper involving a Letter and Essay along with 155 questions on Data Interpretation, Economy and Banking Awareness, English.

This exam is considered as one of the most coveted Government exams in the country, clearing IAS is like a dream job for every Government job aspirant. UPSC exams is one of the upcoming government exams.

  • A candidate must be a graduate or have an equivalent degree to appear for the exam.

How to prepare for UPSC Exams ?

Majority of the candidates who start their preparation for the exam do so with the zeal of becoming an IAS Officer. UPSC conducts IAS exam in three different stages- Preliminary, Mains and Interview Stage.

The Preliminary Stage involves two papers, the cumulative score of which should be 33% to be qualify for Mains. The Mains exam includes 9 papers in total, with 2 as language papers and 7 other papers are general and optional papers. NCERT Books for class 11 and 12 are one of the necessities while preparing for UPSC.

This is another upcoming government exams. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest insurance company in India. LIC AAO is an exam conducted by LIC to recruit candidates to the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO).

The preliminary exam will be held on April 4, 2020 and the main exam is expected to take place in the month of May 2020. Through this exam, LIC offers an opportunity to the candidates to join the Insurance Sector. The exam is conducted in two phases- Prelims and Mains Exam. The prelims written exam consists of three sections- Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude. It is an objective test conducted online with negative marking. If qualified, the mains exam involves a descriptive test including English Language, Reasoning, Current Affairs, Insurance and Financial Market.

Railway Recruitment Board conducts exams every year to select candidates for Non-Technical Popular Categories(NTPC) graduate and undergraduate posts.The RRB Exam is expected to be scheduled in the month of May-June,2020. The posts under RRB NTPC include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Senior Clerk, Station Master in Zonal Railways.

For one to qualify for the exam one needs to be:

  • Between 18-30 years for undergraduate posts, and between 18-33 years of age for graduate posts.
  • For undergraduate post, the person needs to pass higher secondary school. Subsequently, for graduate posts, a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute is required.

How to prepare ?

The selection process of RRB NTPC comprises a two step Computer Based Test, Typing Skill Test and Document Verification. The topics in the test are at Class 12 or Graduation level including General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence.
