Instructions
What you need to know to create your MyMDC account
- You will be asked to provide some basic information about who you are:
- Student Number or Social Security Number
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
After the system knows who you are, you will be asked to
- Accept MDC’s computing policies
- Create a password
- Create a challenge question and answer you can use later in case you forget your password
Once completed, you will be issued your MyMDC username and your MyMDC student email account.
You will need to remember
- Your username and password
- The answer to the challenge question that you will create

MDC Blackboard Support
There are two types of supports available – one for Students and another for Faculties.
MDC Blackboard Support for Student
If a student is not able to log in, he/she should contact the MDC Online Help Desk directly by one of the methods below:
- Online: Students can submit a “Trouble Ticket” detailing the issues by emailing online@mdc.edu; the Student Support team will respond.
- By Phone: Students can call the Blackboard Student Support Desk at (305) 237-3800
The MDC Online Help Desk handles all student-related Blackboard login issues for Web-enhanced and Blended courses. Other student issues for Web-enhanced or Blended courses should be reported to the instructor, who can then work with CIOL to determine whether the issue can be fixed or needs to be escalated as a Support Ticket.
